Salon Policies

These policies are strictly enforced; put in place for the safety, well-being and the best interest of your pet and our staff.

Matted, Tangled and De-matting Pets

Matted Pets:  Pets who are matted may have to be shaved down depending on the severity of the matting. IF possible and the owner wants the mats brushed out; there will be a $20 De-Mat Fee for every 15mins of brushing. Matts can cause a series of issues to your pets skin and health.  These issues may be bruising of the skin, hot-spots, hematomas and odors.  WE DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE THE GROOM. Vaccinations 

All pets receiving services from our staff must be up-to-date on their Rabies vaccination. Please ensure proof of rabies vaccination is provided at the time of your appointment or submitted via email to the start of services. Thank you for helping us keep all safe and healthy!

Fleas, Ticks and Other Parasites

At our grooming salon, we prioritize the health and safety of all pets. If fleas are detected during the grooming process, we will treat your pet with a natural flea and tick shampoo. To ensure a safe environment, the salon will be thoroughly sanitized to prevent the spread of fleas to other pets. In the case of other parasites, such as worms, we will contact you immediately, and your pet will need to be picked up right away. Please note that any completed services will be charged accordingly.

No-Show, Last-minute Cancelations and Lateness

Cancellations/Lateness:  As a courtesy we call our clients the day before their grooming visit as a friendly reminder and kindly ask to call us back if they are running late or need to cancel.  For clients that are running 15min late there will be a $20 fee added to your visit. For clients running 30min late there will be a $30 fee paid up front, and the possibility of rescheduling to a new date and time.

 This not only inconveniences our groomers; making it hard to keep on track with appointment times, it's an inconvenience to our other clients who showed up to their appointment on time.

Senior Pets and Pre-existing Conditions

At our grooming salon, we understand that senior pets and those with pre-existing conditions require special care We prioritize their safety and comfort during the grooming process, taking extra time as needed to ensure a positive experience. In some cases, muzzling may be necessary to protect both your pet and our groomers, but rest assured, this will only be done when absolutely required. Your pet's well-being is our top priority, and we are committed to providing best possible care.

Right to Refuse

At Holistic Grooms by K9 Couture Pet Grooming, we prioritize the well-being of your pets. Our groomers reserve the right to refuse service to pets that are ill, have pre-existing conditions, are senior, or display aggressive behavior if we believe grooming may cause stress or harm.
